Spicy lamb kebabs

Serves:
8

Preparation Time:
60 minutes

Cooking time: 5-10 minutes

Ingredients
 
• 500g/1lb 2oz lamb, trimmed and cut into to cubes.

• 8 skewers, pre-soaked if using wooden skewers.

• 2 red onions, peeled and quartered.

• 2 red peppers cut into pieces.


For the marinade:


• 1 garlic clove, crushed.

• 2 cloves.

• 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper.

• 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds.

• 2 teaspoons coriander seeds.

• 1 teaspoon of sea salt and freshly.

ground black pepper.

• 4 tablespoons of olive oil.
Preparatio

Place the marinade ingredients into a pestle and mortar


and grind until fine, then mix up with the oil to make a thick

marinade paste.

Coat the lamb pieces with the marinade and leave in a covered bowl


for at least half an hour.


3.


To make the kebabs, push the meat, pepper and onion alternately


onto the skewers.


4.


Grill for approx 5 minutes, turning often.


Now enjoy with a crisp green salad, couscous and a large dollop

of Hellmann's Real Mayonnaise!
