Delicious and aromatic slow-cooked chicken in a medium-heat curry sauce blend combining
ground coriander and cumin.
Ingredients
1 onion, cut into chunks
1 red pepper, cut into chunks
450g 1lb potatoes, cut into chunks
450g 1lb chicken, diced
1 sachet Schwartz Slow Cookers Chicken Curry
400g tin chopped tomatoes
175g 6oz fresh spinach
Method
STEP 1
Place the onion, pepper, potatoes and chicken into your slow cooker pot.
STEP 2
Blend the sachet contents with the chopped tomatoes, and add to the slow cooker pot. Stir
through.
STEP 3
Cover and cook for 4 hours on HIGH or 8 hours on LOW, or until the meat is tender and cooked
through. (Keep covered during cooking. Cooking times vary between slow cooker models.)
STEP 4
Remove the lid, stir the spinach through and stand for 5 minutes before serving.
STEP 5
Delicious served with rice and mango chutney.
